For newly built homes, the municipality typically requires a deposit to ensure the property's final ground slope properly directs water away from the house—either toward the street or, in commercial projects, toward a designated drain. This crucial step prevents flooding and ensures drainage meets all municipal standards. We work directly with your General Contractor or home builder to meet these requirements.

 

For older homes experiencing existing drainage issues, we can regrade the lot to establish adequate drainage and resolve any water problems. Sometimes a retaining wall is necessary in order to lift the grade, but keep neighbouring grade as is.
