Here at MVR Landscaping our approach for commercial driveway and high vehicular area installations varies depending on the commercial property. We ensure superior longevity and performance for your project.

 

For condominiums utilizing a concrete subfloor with existing drainage, we raise the grade using granular A aggregate to achieve the necessary height. We then apply High-Performance Bedding (HPB) as the top base, unless specific engineer specifications dictate an alternative method.

 

For areas lacking a concrete subfloor, we excavate a minimum of 18 inches (1.5 feet) to guarantee a firm, stable, and properly compacted subgrade before installing pavers. While many manufacturers recommend 12 inches, we find that 18 inches is necessary to ensure long-term stability and integrity (5+ years). We exclusively use the highest quality aggregates, avoiding repurposed gravel as the consistency is different every load.

 

We recommend the following commercial driveway capable stones for their durability: Unilock ECO-PRIORA, Techo-Bloc Industria 100mm, and Oaks Pavers Eterna 100mm.
